Doing things a little different than normal--we will provide the tables, you bring your tile sets if you have one! Open play for those that know how to play independently. Guided play for Blooming Bams Mahjong 101 students. No teaching at this event.

About the event
Come grab your seat at the table for a fun, friendly gathering of tiles, strategy, and good company! Whether you’re a seasoned player or just recently caught the Mahjong bug, Open Play is your time to mix, mingle, and Mahj on with fellow enthusiasts. We will bring several sets of tiles, but if you have a setup you like, you are welcome to bring it. Don't forget your current NMJL card, and get ready to play! We welcome all skill levels, but please note: you must already know how to play American Mahjong and follow NMJL rules. (No teaching this evening. If you're new to the game, check out our beginner class: Mahjong 101. We’d love to teach you!)
