We bring hands-on instruction right to you with all the supplies necessary to play and learn. Gather your friends and learn at your own pace in a fun, relaxed setting! Alternative lesson locations are available for small groups.
Guided Play
Guided play is an opportunity to put what you learned in Mahjong 101, or perhaps from your friends, to the test! Maybe you want to gain an advantage over your mahjong group with some advanced lessons. We will be available to answer questions on rules, decision making during the Charleston, share advanced strategy, and guide you in the right direction.

Blooming Bams Mahjong was founded by instructors Amanda Tippie and Andrea Gardner Fannin out of a desire to find and connect with more mahjong players. They love teaching just as much as they love playing and value the mental, social, and wellness benefits the game offers—especially the meaningful friendships that form around the table. Based in Southwest Missouri, Blooming Bams is dedicated to teaching American Mahjong in a warm, inviting atmosphere through group and private lessons, open play, leagues, and tournaments designed to foster community, affordability, and flexible scheduling.
