Come Mahj With Us

Blooming Bams Mahjong was founded by instructors Andrea Gardner Fannin and Amanda Tippie out of a desire to find and connect with more mahjong players. What began with lessons and local play has grown into a welcoming community built around a love of the game and the friendships formed around the table.  

As Blooming Bams enters its next chapter, Andrea is opening the Blooming Bams Mahjong Studio in Springfield, creating a permanent home for lessons, open play, leagues, tournament special events and more.  Amanda will continue to be an important part of the Blooming Bams community, teaching lessons and hosting select open play sessions.  

Together, Andrea & Amanda share a love of teaching just as much as they love playing and value the mental, social, and wellness benefits the game offers.  Blooming Bams is dedicated to creating a warm, inviting place to learn, play, and build lasting friendships.
